Resistance training is more commonly known by the term weight training. At BODYTECH we have a full range of Lifefitness and Hammer Strength equipment to cater for all your training needs.
Weight training has a number of benefits for all ages and abilities. All of our instructors all fully qualified instructors, and additionally we have a number of instructors who are certified for Shropshire
Health Authorities Exercise on Prescription Programme.
Fat Loss For those wishing to loose body fat building up muscle (which doesn’t necessarily mean an increase in size) means that
throughout the day you will burn more calories than before you started. Lean muscle will also show through and help to make all areas look more toned.
Mature People Mature clients will benefit immensely from weight training. Annecdotal evidence has shown that weight training gives
improved confidence, self esteem, and as with all types of exercise can help to lift depression. Research has shown that even people who have never trained before can increase their fitness in just 6 weeks, and
help to prevent some of the problems associated with osteoporosis (brittle bones disease), and also help with joint problems.
Bodybuilding For those clients (both male and female) wishing to increase muscle mass we have the best equipment in town. With a
Hammer Strength Fitness Smith’s Machine, Lifefitness Cable Crossover machine, a large selection of free weights, and a number of benches, accompanied with our expert staff we help you to reach your goals and
look your best. We are also able to offer all the serious body builder requires including supplements, tanning units, and if you are really serious – waxing!
Toning & General Fitness For getting a lean and sleek look, or just general all round fitness then our range of fixed resistance
equipment (weight machines) are ideal for you. All stations are by Lifefitness, chosen by us for their comfort, and effectiveness. There is nothing to be concerned about as each member receives a one-on-one
personal training programme, designed especially for them.
